Four Way Stops – How do they work and who goes first?

At a four-way stop, the driver who arrives and stops first gets to go first. Pay attention to the order drivers arrive at the intersection. If two or more drivers stop at the same time, yield to the driver on the right. Intersections with malfunctioning lights should be handled the same way as a four-way stop.
